Precision Cable Connections for Temenos, Middlesbrough
At Temenos in Middlesbrough, UK, Kinzi contributed to the monumental tensile sculpture by supplying P2H fork terminals for stainless steel cables in 10 mm, 16 mm and 32 mm diameters.

Created by artist Anish Kapoor with structural designer Cecil Balmond, Temenos stretches approximately 110 metres in length and 50 metres in height. Its dramatic twisting form is created through a tensioned steel cable system suspended between large structural rings. Anish Kapoor

Specialist Cable Connection Components
Kinzi supplied P2H fork terminals for three different cable sizes used within the structure: 10 mm, 16 mm and 32 mm.
These fittings form part of the connection system that transfers the cable forces into the supporting structure. Although small in comparison with the overall sculpture, accurate cable terminals are essential to the performance and assembly of a large tensile system.
Supporting Different Cable Scales
The project combines relatively small cable-net elements with much larger structural cables. Supplying fork terminals across three cable diameters required consistent manufacturing and dimensional control so that each fitting matched its intended cable and connection point.
For Kinzi, the project demonstrates how precision stainless steel hardware can become part of a much larger architectural and structural system.
