Precision Cable Engineering for Perth Stadium’s Arbour Walkway

At Perth Stadium in Western Australia, Kinzi contributed to the architectural arbour walkway by developing and manufacturing the stainless steel cable assemblies and connection components used throughout the pedestrian structure.

More Than 1,600 Custom Cable Assemblies

The project required more than 1,600 cable assemblies with varying lengths. Rather than producing a single repeated standard assembly, Kinzi had to manage a large number of individually specified cable lengths while maintaining dimensional accuracy and consistent manufacturing quality.

Engineering and Production Control

Kinzi’s scope included design development, engineering and manufacturing of the cable assemblies, cable clamps and connector fittings. Managing the project at this scale required careful production planning, component identification and control so that each assembly matched its intended location within the architectural system.

Stainless Steel for a Highly Visible Public Space

The cable assemblies and fittings were manufactured from SS316 stainless steel with electropolished and satin finishes, providing the clean architectural appearance required for the stadium’s public walkway.
